We can Sing again during Mass!

Congregational Singing is Back

It has been nearly 20 months since we have been able to give praise to God by singing at Mass.  Last Wednesday after consultation with others including the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Ontario, Archbishop Marcel approved congregational singing be allowed again.  The other COVID-19 preventative measures are to remain in place including the wearing of a face mask and two-metre physical distancing.  So we are now permitted to sing during Mass however we must wear our masks while doing so.

Priests are now allowed to sing the parts of the Mass while in the sanctuary when not wearing a mask provided that the required 3-metres physical distancing is observed.
