Dear Parish Family,
Merry Christmas! Fr. Marcus, Fr. Allan, Michael and I wish for all of you and your loved ones to experience the joy, peace and blessings of this beautiful season. We had a beautiful four full weeks of Advent. Now it is time to make sure we get the most out of the twelve days of Christmas from December 25 - January 5. We will keep our Christmas decorations in the Church until Monday, January 9, after Epiphany Sunday to keep the Christmas Spirit glowing brightly. Hopefully you will be able to keep your decorations up as well, except perhaps any real Christmas trees, having lost their needles.
Jesus is the Light of the World. May he scatter any darkness in our hearts and homes with the wonderful light of his loving presence.
Thank you to all who have given Christmas cards, goodies and gifts to the four of us at the Rectory. We feel very loved and cared for by you. Special thanks to all who organized the Christmas Pageant, and to all who make our Christmas Masses rich and meaningful, whether logistically, technically, or liturgically.
Fr. Marcus and Michael will be away for several days after Christmas, and I will be holding down the fort with Fr. Alan's help until they return. The Office is reopening on Tuesday, January 10 at 9am. Until then, there will be no further email send-outs until things resume. In the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas season. A time for you to either welcome guests, or for you to visit loved ones and friends. May the Holy Angels who sang 'Glory to God in the Highest' on that first Christmas night, guide your coming and going during this blessed time.
In Christ,
Fr. Tim
