Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) offers a unique opportunity of spiritual and religious formation for children at St. Maurice Parish. Children as young as three years, together with trained catechists, experience the richness of our Catholic faith through hands-on and developmentally appropriate explorations of scripture and the liturgy of the Church. Level 1, for children aged 3-5 years (preschool to SK) will have openings in fall 2023. Sessions run weekly for two hours from October to June, with a choice of either Wednesday, Thursday or Friday mornings. Children who take part in Level 1 are eligible to continue through Level 2 (which includes sacramental preparation) and Level 3 in subsequent years.
