As a Catholic community we cherish the Mass as our primary way of gathering for worship. There are many ways to be involved in ministry to support the liturgical celebrations at St. Maurice.  It takes many people to make our liturgies as rich and joyful as possible. Those listed here show some of the ministries in which parishoners serve. Questions, volunteers or suggestions can be made to the contacts indicated, or in general to deaconkevin@stmauriceparish.com.

Ushers

We're here to welcome people and help with directions, information or other assistance. During Mass, we ensure that all flows smoothly, and we take up the collection. We help where needed.  We love to see both familiar and new faces.

Altar Servers

Boys who have already received their First Communion, all the way up to university-aged young men are invited to serve at Mass, processions, Adoration and other liturgical celebrations. Through serving at the altar and assisting the priests, servers have the opportunity to grow in their love, reverence and devotion to Jesus, our Eternal Priest. This is also a great way to begin or continue one's discernment to the priesthood.

Monthly altar serving practices (2nd Saturday of the month: 1pm-2:30pm)
